Getting your product on Australia.com
Tourism Australia’s consumer website, Australia.com, receives millions of unique visits each year and is the primary call to action for its consumer marketing campaigns. The site is in English and nine other languages to cover the 15 international markets Tourism Australia targets.
There are two opportunities for Australian tourism businesses to get their product listed on Australia.com:
Tourism businesses can submit story ideas to be featured on the site. To help with content submissions that fit within the style of Australia.com we have created some guides including a content playbook, a content stylebook and content templates.
Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW)
The Australian Tourism Data Warehouse (ATDW) is Australia’s national tourism database and distribution platform which represents over 40,000 small and medium sized tourism products and destinations.
By listing a product in the ATDW database, tourism operators benefit from being listed on their State or Territory Tourism Organisation’s consumer website, the Australia.com website and through ATDW’s network of over 200 tourism distributors.
Registration and approval of ATDW listings is managed through State or Territory Tourism Organisations and submissions are made via the ATDW online portal.
On Australia.com ATDW listings are shown on an interactive map with a panel about each product which is also shown on a various capital city pages such as this guide to Sydney. In addition, pages helping users to find accommodation and tours also feeds through from ATDW listings.
