The Gold Coast turned on the sunshine and rolled out the red carpet for the 37th annual Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE) on the Gold Coast last week.
Delegates praised the relaxed environment and enjoyed the warm weather and welcome turned on by Queensland’s Gold Coast.
Tourism Australia Managing Director John O’Sullivan said the hosting of ATE on the Gold Coast generated a significant interest with the number of Australian travel businesses participating reaching its highest level in eight years as well as 98 new buyers from nine markets attending the event for the first time.
