Luke Mangan conquers land, sea, air and rail

Celebrity chef Luke Mangan has become the first restaurateur in the world to serve dishes on land, sea, air and now rail, thanks to a new partnership with Eastern and Oriental Express.
To celebrate this milestone, Luke has launched the new campaign Search for a CEO (Culinary Experience Officer). The winner will experience world-class food and wine offerings, mentoring time with Luke as well as a workshop with Tourism Australia’s social media team.
Tourism Australia will assist in the search for Australia’s most passionate foodie, with the winner’s uniquely Australian beverage served at the opening night gala of the Australian Tourism Exchange (ATE).
Luke is part of Tourism Australia’s advocacy program Friends of Australia and has been an important collaborator for the Restaurant Australia campaign. Tourism Australia Managing Director, John O’Sullivan, said it was great to see a Friend of Australia continue the Australia’s recent tradition of creating and recruiting for some of the best jobs in the world.
“Luke has been a wonderful ambassador for our industry, particularly in the generous and enthusiastic support he has provided for our current food and wine push. Like our own Restaurant Australia campaign, this is an initiative which will help draw the world’s attention to the people, the fresh produce and the incredible places that make our country’s food and wine offering truly world class,” he said.
