North America 2016 Australia Tourism Summit

Strong early interest has already been received for the North America 2016 Australia Tourism Summit which will host up to 300 travel, aviation, hospitality and industry executives involved in the booming USA outbound holiday market for travel to Australia.
Now in its fourth year, the Summit is hosted in conjunction with Australia’s State Tourism Organisations and will be held in Los Angeles from 22 to 23 February in 2016. Australian tourism industry interested in attending can contact Bob Bibeault, Tourism Australia’s Partner Campaign Manager in the USA.
Keynote speakers already confirmed for the Summit include Virtuoso chief executive Matthew Upchurch on conversion and Shelley Cline, president of TCS World Travel and Starquest Expeditions who will address ‘Ultra Luxury Partnership Strategies.’
Tourism Australia’s General Manager Western Markets and Global Distribution Development, Katherine Droga, will moderate ‘The Editors Roundtable’ with Food and Wine Editor in Chief Dana Cowin, Departures EIC Richard Story and Travel +Leisure EIC Nathan Lump.
Following the Summit, The Australia Marketplace will be held from 24 to 26 February where more than 100 North American travel companies and buyers will meet with more than 95 Australian tourism products for one-on-one appointments.
A ‘There’s nothing like Australia’ retail roadshow will then be held the following week from 29 February to 2 March.
