Reimagining the Future of Tourism

Tourism Australia hosted the 8th annual Destination Australia conference on Thursday 3 March 2022 at CENTREPIECE at Melbourne Park.

With Australia’s tourism industry facing its most challenging year ever, the 2022 Destination Australia conference focussed on reimagining the future of tourism and inspired industry to rebuild bigger and better, with high profile speakers discussing lessons learnt, sharing future focused trends and highlighting emerging opportunities.

Around 600 industry professionals attended in person and a further 500 participated online.

Following the conference, Tourism Australia hosted an industry networking event at one of Australia’s most iconic sporting stadiums, the Melbourne Cricket Ground.
