India Travel Mission 2018
The India Travel Mission (ITM) 2018 is taking place in Jaipur, India from 20 to 23 August.
ITM is an opportunity for representatives from the Australian tourism industry to establish business relationships with key qualified travel agencies and tour operators from India, including the main cities of Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune and Jaipur.
The India Market
India is Australia’s 8th largest inbound tourism market. Visitor arrival figures from the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) for 2017 indicate there were 302,200 visitor arrivals from India, the largest number of Indian visitors to Australia in a single year and a 15 per cent increase compared to 2016.
ITM provides an excellent platform to facilitate business relationships and ensure that leisure and Business Event (BE) visitors going forward drive tourist arrivals to Australia.
