Make a complaint While visitors are in Australia, they are covered by Australia's consumer protection laws which require all businesses to treat consumers fairly.
If you believe you have been treated unfairly by a business while in Australia, first raise your concerns directly with the business involved. If you are unhappy with their response, you should lodge a complaint with the Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism.
