The Department of Resources, Energy and Tourism has primary responsibility for tourism policy and works closely with industry to identify and address impediments to growth and maximise yield. The Department also provides detailed reports and strategies on different issues that affect tourism in Australia.

The Department of the Environment, Water, Heritage and the Arts provides student and teacher resources on topics such as biodiversity, heritage sites and how students can get involved in initiatives that have a positive impact on our environment.

The Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations provides student and teacher resources on Australian civics and citizenship.

The Australian Parliament House also provides resources for students and teachers on Australia’s system of governance.
