LAUNCH OF ‘RE-ENERGISE IN AUSTRALIA’ GLOBAL BUSINESS EVENTS CAMPAIGN

Tourism Australia’s new Business Events campaign – 'Re-energise in Australia' was launched by the Hon Fran Bailey on 12 February 2007, in FortyOne at the Rialto in Melbourne.

The new, multi-level campaign specifically targets corporates and intermediaries operating within 11 industry sectors in the UK, North America and Asia (China, Taiwan, Korea, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, India and Singapore), as these countries deliver the bulk of Australia’s business events business.

The new campaign, which focuses on direct mail, aims to reach three target audiences with a unique and personalised invitation to consider Australia as the destination for their next business event. Corporate decision makers, corporate influencers and corporate intermediaries will receive a uniquely Australian gift and event kit, supported by a virtual online guide and knowledge resources, and the latest email marketing database procurement technology.
