IMEX APPLICATIONS NOW OPEN

 

Applications are now open for IMEX – a worldwide exhibition that brings together planners and suppliers from the conference, convention and corporate events industry. Held in Germany – the world’s third largest market for conferences and incentives - IMEX provides the opportunity to meet influential buyers looking for innovative incentive destinations and experiences. IMEX runs from 17 – 19 April 2007.

TABEE UPDATE
 
TABEE 2006

Applications are now closed for the Team Australia Business Events Educational 2007 (TABEE) – Australia’s premier business events trade show for the Asian region. TABEE will be held at the Regent in Shanghai, China from 12 to 14 March 2007. This year, 120 buyers from 11 countries (China, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Taiwan,

bureaux and 43 Australian products will be participating. TABEE provides an important opportunity for Australian business event products to meet and do business with influential buyers from the Asian region.

MEA EARLY BIRD REGISTRATION

 

The 20th annual Meeting and Events Australia (MEA) National Conference, with the ‘An Island in a Sea of Change’ theme, will be held from 1 to 3 April 2007 in Hobart, Tasmania. The conference provides a great opportunity for the business events industry to stay up to date with the latest technology and industry practices, form essential networks and experience Tasmania.

AIME 2007 IS FAST APPROACHING!

AIME 2007

With only three weeks to go, the countdown for the AsiaPacific Incentives and Meetings Expo (AIME 2007) has begun. This year, Australia will shine among the 850 exhibitors from 50 countries. The program will include two Business Events Forums, the AIME Success Series Seminars and two newly introduced sessions - Ask the Experts and the Pamper Zone.

Participants will have the chance to learn about important developments in the business events sector and discuss global issues and regional trends that will affect your business in the future. Tourism Australia is excited to be supporting the AIME media office and the Business Events team look forward to seeing you in Melbourne.

Mr Paul Lewin, Brisbane Marketing’s Director of Business Development, has been appointed to the role of Association of Australian Convention Bureaux (AACB) Vice-President. Mr Lewin has been instrumental in driving Brisbane Marketing’s recent successful bids. He comes to the AACB with extensive knowledge, experience and expertise in the local and international arena.
