Visitor arrival highlights for March 2017

  • There were 768,500 visitor arrivals during March, an increase of 1.8 per cent relative to the same period of the previous year.
  • This brings us to 8.37 million visitor arrivals for year ending March 2017, an increase of 9.1 per cent relative to the previous year. This represents an extra 699,000 visitors on the previous year.
  • Leisure arrivals (Holiday + VFR) continued to drive international arrivals growth, with an increase of 9.9% per cent over the 12 month period.
