WORK AND PLAY THE AUSSIE WAY
On 31 January Tourism Australia launched its ‘Work and Play the Aussie Way’ inviting Working Holiday Makers to Australia. The campaign showcases to young people all the adventures and experiences they could have while working and travelling in Australia
The campaign follows the announcement of new measures to incentivise fully vaccinated student and Working Holiday Maker visa holders to travel to Australia, to help address critical workforce shortages caused by the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Focusing on Working Holiday Makers from the United Kingdom, Europe, Japan and Republic of Korea, the campaign gives young travellers a glimpse of the adventures that await them while working and travelling Australia.
The ‘Work and Play the Aussie Way’ campaign will be rolled out in two major phases and will focus on attracting Working Holiday Makers to Australia.
The campaign will drive young people to sign up for Working Holiday Maker visas and travel to Australia during the period that the Visa Application Charge refunds are available.
‘Work and Play the Aussie Way’ will include marketing activities in France, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, the United Kingdom and Ireland.
