Experience Australia in 8D Sound
Tourism Australia created a series of short videos using stunning footage that explored the unique sights, sounds and textures of Australia with 8D sound.
The video series encouraged international audiences to keep dreaming of all of the experiences awaiting them when they were able to travel to Australia again.
8D audio is a sound engineering treatment that makes the music and effects sound like they are coming from different places. This creates an immersive experience and viewers should wear headphones for maximum effect.
The six videos are themed by colour – blue, red, magenta, green, black and white – to evoke a range of feelings and emotions and showcase the visual diversity found in Australia.

The live track is called ‘Got To Have’, from the iconic album ‘Live with the Melbourne Symphony Orchestra’.
Tune into Aus aimed to reignite the desire for international travellers to holiday in Australia when they were able to do so.
