Tourism Australia hosted the annual Destination Australia conference on Thursday 16 March 2023 at the International Convention Centre (ICC) Sydney.

The event, themed ‘Come and Say G’day’, celebrated the opportunities for the future of Australian tourism and was followed by a networking event aboard The Jackson on Sydney Harbour.

As we invite the world to Come and Say G’day, 2023 is all about driving international tourism demand back to Australia. There is lots of opportunity from a world that is finally open, but there are also lots of challenges from a hyper competitive international landscape with evolving consumer preferences.

Industry leaders and topic experts shared evolving trends and talked about key areas of focus, including accessibility, inclusion, Indigenous and sustainability.
