UK media celebrates Australia Day

Australia Day celebrations in London kicked off last Tuesday with Tourism Australia’s annual UK media party.

Despite snow setting in outside, more than 60 guests gathered at members club Mortimer House to enjoy an evening of canapes and Australian beer and wines and to hear from the team all of the exciting news coming up in 2019.

Guests included Friend of Australia and wine journalist Olly Smith, TV presenter Sian Lloyd and a number of high profile UK travel journalists from titles including Vanity Fair, Elle, Sunday Times Travel Magazine and the Mail on Sunday.
