Aussie Specialists celebrated in China

Tourism Australia’s China Aussie Specialist Program Ambassador Awards ceremony was held in Guangzhou last week.

The event was attended by 70 guests including the top ten Aussie Specialist Ambassador candidates, State and Territory Tourism Organisations, key distribution partners, airline partners, officials from the Australian consulate in Guangzhou and media. There were 59 Aussie Specialist Ambassador video submissions from China.

Two winners will join Aussie Specialist Ambassadors from Hong Kong, Korea, Japan, India, Malaysia and Singapore on famils to Australia later this month. In addition to the awards Tourism Australia conducted an Aussie Specialist training carnival.

This annual event saw 250 travel industry professionals gather in Guangzhou for a comprehensive update on travel to and around Australia.
