Business Events seminars in China generate new leads
One hundred and fifty incentive planners and agents attended two training seminars hosted by Tourism Australia’s dedicated business events unit Business Events Australia (BEA) in China earlier this month.
In Guangzhou, 95 agents attended a full day seminar with seven Australian convention bureaus.
It was the sixth time BEA has hosted a seminar in the Guangdong region. In addition, BEA hosted its first seminar in Changsha for 55 agents along with six Australian convention bureaus.
The classroom style format catered for first-time agents looking for an introduction to Australia’s business event capabilities.
The seminars generated 21 potential leads. Cathay Pacific and China Southern Airlines also participated in both seminars.
